Welcome to ImageWorks, Carrie Canon

ImageWorks Commercial Interiors is excited to announce that Carrie Canon will be joining the Memphis sales team effective November 6. A graduate from Louisiana State University, Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Carrie’s career spans 23 years in the commercial interiors industry. She began with a Memphis design firm, and subsequently worked in sales representing carpet, wallcovering, textiles, furniture, and construction companies. In essence, Carrie has touched every part of our industry.

Carrie’s role will focus on new business development in western Tennessee. Her emphasis will be on end users and key A&D influencers. Carrie feels her background makes her a “perfect fit” to cover the Memphis market using her existing relationships and networking contacts to bring brand awareness to the capabilities ImageWorks provides. “This is a great time to join this team. We are moving into a Class A building at the Crescent Center, so it’s a new beginning for all of us. I can’t wait to bring prospects to our showroom featuring the latest workplace solutions.”

Joining ImageWorks was an easy decision for Carrie. Her personal brand aligned with the core values of the organization. “Rhonda (CEO of ImageWorks) talked with me about integrity, respect, community involvement and innovation. Those mirror the attributes I strive to personify. I’ve worked hard to establish my name and reputation so ImageWorks will be easy to represent. The fact that it is woman owned is a bonus.” Carrie was particularly impressed with Rhonda’s 5–10-year plan. “Rhonda is making investments that will yield great dividends. It’s exciting when you know a company has a vision and a well thought out plan for the future.”

Carrie strongly believes Memphis is poised for accelerated growth and sees her role as saturating the market with awareness of ImageWorks’ capabilities. She is ready for the challenge. “The new Ford plant alone will spark a ton of opportunities for new business. For me, the sky is the limit when you have an integrated interiors package like ImageWorks. We need to exploit that. People call me a “connector” because I love networking. I will be leveraging my existing relationships and making new ones to bring in opportunities.”

Kevin Yates, Vice President of sales and Memphis market leader is thrilled to have Carrie join the team. “Carrie brings a special energy to our team in Memphis. Her background is remarkable. She has all the qualities we look for in an ambassador for our brand. People will immediately connect with her, and we look forward to celebrating her continued success with us as more clients become familiar with what we offer.”

Carrie is active in AIA, IIDA, ABC, and NAWIC. Born and raised in Memphis, she makes her home in the heart of the city. A fanatic SEC football fan, no surprise,“Geaux Tigers” is her mantra.
